This page explains what is in an Aurum Data Pack, where the information comes from, what to expect when you work it, and what you are responsible for before you contact anyone on the list. Please read it before you buy.

How it works

What a Data Pack contains

Each Data Pack is a branded Excel file, plus a plain CSV for your CRM or dialer, of U.S. consumer records selected by the filters listed on the product page, such as state, age range, and estimated household income. Records typically include name, mailing address, and phone number. Some records also include an email address or other fields. The exact fields are listed on each product page.

Where the data comes from

Aurum Data Packs are built from compiled consumer marketing data. That data is assembled by established third-party data providers from sources that include:

• Public records, such as county and property records
• Aged online inquiry records (people who responded to online offers in the past)
• Publicly available online sources and directories
• Demographic and lifestyle data from consumer data aggregators

The underlying databases are refreshed about four times a year. Some fields, such as estimated income, are modeled estimates, not verified facts about the individual.

Setting expectations

What this data is not

• It is not opt-in or consent-based. The people in a Data Pack have not asked to be contacted by you or about your product. A Data Pack does not include any consent to receive calls, texts, or emails.
• It is not scrubbed against Do Not Call. Records have not been checked against the National Do Not Call Registry, state registries, or any company's internal do-not-call list.
• It is not guaranteed accurate or complete. Contact details change, and some records will be out of date.

Your responsibilities as a buyer

By purchasing a Data Pack, you agree that you, not Aurum, are responsible for how you use it, including:

• Scrubbing every list against the National Do Not Call Registry, applicable state registries, and your own internal do-not-call and suppression lists before any outreach.
• Complying with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and FCC rules. In general, calls or texts made with an autodialer or a prerecorded or artificial voice to a cell phone require the consumer's prior express consent, and telemarketing uses of those methods require prior express written consent. Data Packs do not supply that consent.
• Complying with state telemarketing laws, which can be stricter than federal law (for example, calling-hour limits, call-frequency limits, and state registration requirements).
• Complying with CAN-SPAM for any email outreach, including honoring unsubscribe requests.
• Following any rules that apply to your industry, such as insurance marketing and licensing rules.
• Honoring every opt-out request promptly and permanently.

Permitted and prohibited uses

Data Packs are licensed for marketing outreach only. You may not use them to make decisions about a person's eligibility for credit, insurance underwriting, employment, housing or tenant screening, or for any other purpose covered by the Fair Credit Reporting Act. You may not resell, share, or transfer a Data Pack. See our Terms of Service for full terms.

Consumer opt-out

If you believe your information appears in an Aurum Data Pack and want it removed from future packs, email support@aurumdatapacks.com with your name, mailing address, and phone number, or use our contact form. We will remove it from future Data Packs.
